Environmental Design

NITA Design Group, which comes from Holland, is a comprehensive international design agency constituted by first-class designing teams in Europe. With its headquarter located in Amsterdam, Holland, it has all together six specialized departments in Europe. Its incomparable creativity reflected in the designing of large comprehensive spaces, urban environment and theme parks, residential communities, tourism, vacation and entertainment projects has been widely appreciated. In 2002, NITA established its headquarter of China in Shanghai. Driven by the dual-core idea of “insightful design and green technology”, it is dedicated to promote the idea of “GREEN CITY” with assistance of the parent technology from Holland - the most famous green country all over the world. In consistence with the principle of co-existence, it was acknowledged by the Chinese government, and was appointed by Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination as the overall management organization for the design of general view and green project of the Expo Park (Pudong & Puxi) after its winning of the International Competition of the General Design of View of Shanghai World Expo 2010.

Green Technology

Under the background of global warming and ecological diversity being severely damaged, NITA focuses not only the designing, but also commits itself in creating a development model through research that allows the economic growth co-exists with the natural environment harmoniously. Based on this, NITA integrated the pioneering designing idea with the green technology from Holland, the world-renowned green country, developed and practiced the idea of “GREEN CITY”. Along the Huangpu River the green Expo Park unveiled its charm with a total area of 5.28 km2 in 2010 with integration of more than ten green technologies The idea of “GREEN CITY” has achieved an unprecedented success and was given high evaluations by Chinese leaders as well as prominent political figures from other countries. NITA expects that China, as the pilot of developing countries, can promote and share this green experience of World Expo with its other cities so as to contribute to the low-carbon strategic development and instill green vitality to our blue planet.

Engineering Consultant

NITA does not limit itself to producing good designing on drawing paper, moreover, it expects the constructed buildings can be appreciated by the people living in them. In Europe, NITA works hand in hand with the business owners to control project investment, overall progress and quality control. Today, NITA introduces its complete management and supervision system into China. Appointed as the overall management organization for the design of general view and green project of the Expo Park (Pudong & Puxi), NITA marched through the journey from drawing to the final construction, winning a series of honors such as “May 1 pioneering team”, “May 1 Labor Medal” etc. From World Expo to Jiading New Town, Shanghai, more and more Chinese business owners begin to pay attention to and accept the integrated support system advocated by NITA, who is willing to devote every effort in contributing to excellent practices of projects.
