NITA Design Group Attended 2014 Nursery Plants Observation in Jiangsu

  CEO Dai Jun was invited to attend 2014 Nursery Plants Observation activity in Jiangsu on Oct. 27. The Design Director Max Jia and Dimple Li from Brand Development Department also attended this activity. Participants in this activity are mainly leaders from Jiangsu Forestry Bureau and Provincial Plants Commerce, experts and specialists from governmental garden divisions, famous landscape design and construction enterprises.

  Following the activity theme of New Product Introduction and Promotion as well as Supply-Demand Connection, participants visited about thirteen nursery plant sites including Wujin, Jintan, Wujiang, Yixing, Pukou and Jiangdu and observed many new introduced plants such as M.glyptostroboides‘GoldRush’, Cupressus Blue Ice and Quercus virginiana. The Chairman of Provincial Plants Commerce Mr. Zhang Liufang made a short and clear introduction of this activity. Mr. Dai suggested the plant supplier control plant varieties and expand promotion channels. He also proposed that market acceptance and designers’ sensitivity to new superior plants are two key problems in promoting new plants.

  The supply-demand connection meeting was held in the afternoon of 29th. Chairman Zhang suggested all participants think about and prepare to establish a platform that connecting ecological and landscape enterprises along the Yangtze River, as to integrate industrial resources and build a broader platform for nursery plants in Jiangsu and throughout China.
